icon_smile.gif I did my second buttercream transfer this weekend for my niece. I did Barney I will try to get the pictures to show you. This time I used half butter half Crisco and plastic wrap not wax paper this time... thumbs_up.gif I have got to say I LOOOOOOOOOOVE the plastic wrap the transfer came off SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO clean and I only had in my freezer for 25 30 mins tops. ( last time I used wax paper and had it in the freezer for an hour and parts stuck but I was able to fix it......)highly recommend using a half butter and half Crisco recipe and the plastic wrap..........it works

I have never done a transfer and I would love to. Is there a link with step by step directions or pictures?

Thanks for any help I can get.

What do you use to outline your design? I am not sure what the article is talking about. You can tell I am new to this.

Frosting. Usually brown or black frosting. I usually use a #2 or #3 tip depending on how detailed I want to be. #1 for reallly small area's. Just keep in mind that black does have a tendency to bleed when it's thawing. I use a papertowel to absorb condensation to keep that from occuring.
