thank u very much you two . i really appreciate it ![]()
I feel really dumb asking this question but here goes... How can you get more servings just by adding an additional layer on top. It is still the same measurement ![]()
If you would have a single layer and cut it into, say a 2 inch wide square serving, it would be 2 inches tall (in a 2-inch tall pan). If you were to have a double layer, it would be 4 inches tall and you could cut it thinner (1-inch square). Does that make sense?
We're not talking about torting a single layer. It's like having 2 separate cakes stacked on top of each other which would serve as much as two singles.
Thanks marknrox I understand now. When you cut the cake it will be thinner sliced because it is doubled. Never thought about this method ![]()
