I made a colorflow image , its for a grad party, so its a grad hat and a scroll, well i didnt put the ribbon around the scroll, b/c i wanted to make that stand out, so i was gonna use b.c frosting to pipe that on, but now im wondering if the colorflow will break down from the criscoey frosting. what do you think? this is one of my first cakes with colorflow. i did the wilton class 2 one, but i gave it away when i got home, so i dont know how the birds did. tia!

Yes, you can put BC on color flow but for a limited time. I would put the BC on it at the last moment. It's not going to "disolve before your very eyes" icon_surprised.gif so don't worry about that. It takes time for BC to react to the color flow. I'm saying you have definately 24 hrs - because it doesn't sound like alot of BC being put on the CF - it'll be fine for at least 48 hrs but I wouldn't push it much longer than that. Hope this helps. If your really worried about the BC breaking down your CF - have you thought of using royal icing or a stiff consistency of the CF? If you use those there would be no worries at all and you can still get that 3-D effect I think your looking for..... Just a thought to help with the stress level. thumbs_up.gif
