I always hate uploading two pictures of one cake. I don't need to do this for all of my cakes, but there are some where I really like and want to show 2 different views. I would love to be able to combine them for just one upload though.

I see some pictures where people have done this. Is there a windows program I could use to do this, or would I have to go and get software for it?

Thanks for any help!!!! thumbs_up.gif

I use Paint Shop Pro. Just about any fully-featured graphics program would work. You would just reduce the size of the picture of the alternate view, and then copy and paste it inside the big one.

Piece of cake.

So to speak. icon_smile.gif

I use Adobe Photoshop Elements. It would let you make a collage of one cake, different photos.

The only thing that comes with Windows is called Paint. It's in the accessories section. It doesn't do much, I don't think you can merge pics in it.

Elements is only $70 or so and it does a lot!

Printmaster Platinum is what I use. You can also use it to make invitations, flyers and other goodies. About $50.

Good Luck

I used Adobe Photoshop too. But before I learned how to make a collage in photoshop, I'd copy the photo and paste it into a drawing program. Then do the same with the second/third/etc image. Then once I got them all lined up and text added where I wanted, I would select all and copy it. Then paste it back into the photoshop program and save as a jpeg.

Thanks everyone! Looks like I will have to go get something. I really like the thought of being able to do something more with my pics!

If you go to download.com, they have many photo editing applications and freeware available for download. Try doing a search for photo collage or something of the sort. I'm sure they'll have something to suit your needs and possibly for free! HTH

Photofiltre and The Gimp are highly rated, free programs.

I use Adobe Photoshop CS2. I love it! I just started learning it a few months ago and don't know how to do half of the things I know the program can do, but it is so much fun to play around with. And there are so many tutorials online for different effects you can do with the program.

Hope you find one you like!

I use ArcSoft Photoimpression 4. It works very well for me.

I second the suggestion for The Gimp. I've used photoshop in the past, and I like gimp just as well and it's free, so you can't beat that!

I also use Paint Shop Pro for all my picture editing (and to make graphics also!).
