If I make a cake with buttercream frosting does it have to go in the frig? Can any cake stay out for a couple of days and still be good enough to eat? The buttercream I use has Crisco, Conf. Sugar, Meringue powder and vanilla. No butter. I am having a frig problem - no space!! what do I do? sunflowerfreak
it will be fine left out - you can even leave them out if you use butter in the icing.
