luvalot,

Ganache is basically when you heat up cream and add chocolate chips to form a nice pudding like texture. It is good for alot of things, you can add liquiors to it and use it for truffles, cake filling, frosting...umm, on top of ice cream...fill crossiants...eat alone,,,YUMMMY..

Hope this helped!

ganache is a pourable glaze that goes over a cake. The recipe that I use is good quality cho. chip and heavy whipping cream. I melt this in the microwave and then pour it over my cake. Some people use racks- I just pour. Then using a large spatula I smooth the top and the sided. It gives an awesome effect and dries like a choc. bar- very rich. top the cake with handmade cho pieces or strawberries and it looks great- hope this helps
