Hi, Can I put my Fondant in the micowave for a few seconds to soften it up? I had used it a few weeks ago just playing around with it.

Thank You All

our teacher uses microwave to soften even when freshly made, and i made my first mmf this past weekend, and asked how long it should keep and she said a least a month, so i don't see why not.

That shouldn't be a problem at all. Just be careful of hot spots. I softened mine one time and I had a crappy microwave, it put one hot spot in the MMF and man was it hot when it stuck to my hand! Have fun!!!

You shouldn't have a problem nuking the fondant just be careful and don't do it for too long otherwise it will turn to liquid. And be very careful of hot spots.

Yes, you can. Try 5 seconds. It doesn't take much.
