I have seen the pro's use a clothes steamer to get the shiney look. I have taken a brush and lightly used water on it, it will dry shiny. You don't want to soak it. There is also a spray glaze, but it is a little expensive. You can find it in the speciality suppliers.

If you just want to make it shiney without changing the color at all rub some shortening in the palm of your hands and use it to lightly polish the fondant. I do it all the time works great.

I second using the crisco to buff the fondant until shiny, works great and very easy!

How do you do that lettering? Use the piping gel right on the cake and then trace over it? Is it RI? I love the way it looks!!!
