I made a cake for a friend tomorrow and she requested dulce de leche filling. I bought a can of dulce de leche. Can I put it straight from the can or do I need to mix it with something?

I also put it straight from the can but be aware some of it will absorb into the cake so it won't be think like some fillings, if you want a slightly thicker look put BC first and then a layer of dulce de leche - it is yummy that way too!

Thank for your help ladies! I used it straight from the can. It was a bit thick so I microwaved it for 10 seconds.
