Hope someone can help, I have been (baking) for years and have never run across this in a recipe. It is a Diabectic Chocolate cake and it calls for 5/8 cup of coco. So does anyone know how much is 5/8 cup, I don't have any measuring cups with this measurement on it and have never seen any. Thanks so muchicon_smile.gif

I would just use a 1/2 cup (or 4/8ths) and add a 1/8th cup to that

1/4th of a cup is 4 Tablespoons. 1/8th is 2 Tablespoons, so 5/8ths would be 10 Tablespoons or like mentioned 1/2 cup plus 2 Tablespoons.
