I have never made a thres leches cake and have an order for one for this weekend.....Just wondering if the cake will leak the milk out after I start to frost it with the whipped cream? Kinda scared about the whole thing any help would be appreciated!

Roxxxy,
Hi, and welcome to CC! It is always great to have another member. The more of us.....the more we all learn!

I would suggest using less of the milk mixture if leaking is a big issue. Maybe just brush it on with a pastry brush (I do this with many different cakes and they don't leak). HTH

roxxxy_chic22,

I have made a lot of them, my recipe is in the recipe section. I have never had any of the liquid leak out. Just be sure not to poke the holes too close to the edges.

Feel free to PM with any questions.

Thanks so much! I think I'm going to make a small practice cake today since this s my first time attempting this cake.
