I am new at some cake decorating concepts 
Could someone please tell me what kind of wire that you use to attach things
to the top of your cake. And also where do you buy it

I use florist wire from Michael's. They have different gauges, so depending on what you intend to attach to it, you can choose how thick you want the wire to be. It's fairly cheap, a few bucks for like twenty wires. Or something like that. =)
