Have you tried more powdered sugar in your fondant?

I would definately try more powdered sugar and also ensure that you are working in a cool dry place. As we get into the warmer months you will find it is harder to work with fondant unless you have really good AC. Good luck tell us how it goes.

Add some gum-tex to your fondant for your bows and flowers. It'll dry harder.

I have added gum-tex to my MMF before, it dried very quick and cracked a lot (I have found this happens only when using the gum-tex with MMF). I find it works better adding the already made gum paste.
