I am doing a cupcake cake and need to know if there is a way you keep the cupcakes from sliding? I have done the small ones before and used toothpicks to hold them together but this is my first time doing regular size ones. I would not worry but I am doing it for a friend and she is traveling with it. Any help is appericated.

I have only done a CCC once, but the one time I did it I used a dab of buttercream on the bottom of each cupcake to "glue" it to the cake board. HTH!

Thanks soooooooooooooooo much! I would have never thought about that. I am new to this cake decorating thing. I usually only do it for my kids but my best friends husband is in the hospital and her little girl turns 8 tomorrow and doesn't have a cake or anything. I used to keep this little girl when she was a baby so she is like one of my own.
