I just looked at your work, and you are wonderful, I say go for it!
Yeah, what she said....lol
And DON'T bargain. Your price is your price. You decide what you're worth, not them.
you do very nice work, only complaint you don't have your comment dealy bob on so we can tell you how much we like it! ![]()
You're kidding, right?
I just looked at your cakes. They are so beautiful, what are you waiting for?
Your cakes are beautiful - go for it!
Maybe look into the laws in your area/state too.
Hey - PM kelleym, the cake boss co-owner. The cake program is AWESOME and very cheap, start early with your customers/fees etc.
Best of luck! ![]()
How do you find out what the laws are for your state? Is there a website? I was just wondering because I'm thinking about starting to decorate cakes on the side (I already have another job as well). I have no idea how to get started. I've heard about the cake boss program and I will look into getting. However, I figured I needed to take some other steps before starting things up. Any suggestions? I live in Oregon for those that also live here and might know the laws/rules.
Michelle, check out this thread in the business forum!

You are very lucky -- Oregon is one of the states that DOES allow home bakeries. Contact your Department of Agriculture for regulations. ![]()
