Hi everybody,
I'm a new member and a new cake decorater. I made a cake for someone at my husbands work and they also want a cake next week for their granddaughter. They liked the cake, but said the frosting was too sweet. I used BC on the cake. They want something not so sweet for their granddaughters cake. They said maybe a whipped frosting. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can use?

The recipe for the whipped icing calls for heavy whipping cream whipped. Is it possible to substitute whipped topping (i.e. Cool Whip) for the whipping cream?
