Yep Duncan Hines...but only yellow, white, devils food, and dark chocolate so far are the ones I've successfully tested. The marble kind is nasty.... I combine my own marble. For the more fancy flavors I just would probably make from scratch.
I think the BC cakes are too fluffy and break too easily.
I do like the BC pound cake mix and often mix it with a DH yellow for more stability.

Kita, that is so funny because that's what I think about DH! Fluffy and break easy!
"DH is light and fluffy but when I'm flipping a 16" cake, I prefer firm and solid," is how I always explain it.
I"ve used BC for 25 years....
That really is funny! I have always thought DH to be much more firm and solid than BC. Haha. I"ve had several BC cakes fall apart on me.
Weird!

I prefer BC, but only the Chocolate Fudge and Yellow Butter.
The rest I make from scratch.

i like pillsbury it is always really moist and I have never had any complaints.

I am becoming a DH cake mix person. I used to be strictly BC but here recently I have been real happy with DH.
I made a chocolate birthday cake about three weeks ago and I used BC. This week-end I needed to use 2 cake mixes to have enough batter, so I used 1 BC and 1 DH. My friend said this cake was better than the last cake.
darkchocolate

I've been using BC for 7 years with no problem. I use DH for strawberry, coconut, and red velvet because I can't find the BC in those flavors around here.
