I am looking for a cake pan in the shape of a wine bottle.

My dad is starting a wine tasting party business and wants me to make cakes that he can serve at the parties.
Does anyone know if there is a wine bottle pan out there that I can buy?

Thanks!

I've never seen one, but you can easily carve one from a sheet cake. Just make a "stencil" out of parchment paper or any paper really and place on top of of the cake and cut!

for a 3D wine bottle, you could stack and carve 3" and 2" cakes.

What about a bowling pin shaped pan? I have seen those on ebay. It would be easy to cut the stem into a wine shape.

I created two wine bottles using the two halves of the 3D bowling pin. I joked with my client that they looked like mustard & ketchup bottles on the cake board. But you can get the idea and improve on it. Here is a link to the picture on my website: http://www.sugarfrosted.com/thumbnails.php?album=search&type=full&search=wine

Good Luck! thumbs_up.gif

Thanks for your ideas!
I hadn't thought about a bowling pin...I will definitely check that out.

I thought about sculpting them also , but I may be making at least a couple a week, and that is a lot of work!

Now I just need to find the bowling pin cake pan... icon_smile.gif
