Colouring Cream Cheese Frosting?

I would like to use cream cheese frosting on my mother's day cake this weekend, and wanted to know if anybody colours there's.
Same results as colouring buttercream?? I would like to colour it red and just got my hands on the super red Americolor to try!

It colors pretty much the same as bc icing. I didn't notice any difference. One thing I did notice however is the icing on the cake was almost transparent, it needs alot of icing on it.

Timmies is what we canadians call the donut shop "Tim Horton's". It makes the absolutely best coffee, great donuts, and ice-caps (iced cappaccinos)!! Most people here need a 'timmies-fix' every day icon_biggrin.gif

Another question about CC icing...do the colours bleed into eachother and does it "crust" like normal BC??
