When doing the color flow technique (using royal icing) for letters or pictures, how far in advance can you do them. Also, what do you store them in?

Thank you

You really want 48 hours or more to make sure your piece is completely dry. It will also depend on the humity in your area.

Now if you need to quick dry one, you can put it in the oven with the oven light on, and it may be dry over night, depending on the size of the piece.

I do A LOT of royal icing colorflow. As TexasSugar said, you need to give at least 48 hours but you can make your pieces months in advance. I store my pieces in those parts organizers with the little plastic drawers. Since I always make extras of everything, but don't always need them, I save them for future use. Store your pieces at room temperature and don't seal them airtight and they'll last indefinitely.
