This is for a church; but they don't want it to be a religious cake. The youth group ranges in age groups from first grade up to college age. So, it can't be childish. She did say a lot of the kids are involved with the church choir.

Ideas anybody? Pictures even better!

Not sure if a Hymnal would be religious? icon_confused.gif But that might be an easy way to depict their involvement in choir. Using a sheet cake cut it in half and decorate the first half like it was a hymnal. Then stack the other half (kind of crooked) decorate it like the hymnal below.

I have seen a christmas cake in a book...not sure what one... and it had 3 little fondant choir boys singing on top.

Do the groups have "team" names? I know we have different names for our age groups... if they did you could have a banner for the different groups.

I hope you are able to come up with something great!
