I get more requests for my butter white than anything else.

Chocolate runs a pretty good second to that...

White, for sure. Chocolate is a close second, though.

All of a sudden, all the brides I've had tastings with have booked my double coconut with key lime BC filling - for at least a portion of their cake. The other favorite is french vanilla with raspberry BC filling.

My personal favorite - chocolate! icon_smile.gif

Lately, the most popular for me is the Italian Cream Cake w/ Raspberry Filling or the Devil's Food Cake with Crushed Peppermint White Chocolate Filling. Both of these recipes are Cake Mix Doctor's (the cakes anyway).

Vanilla, white or marble (vanilla/chocolate)...even after being presented with choices. Some people have such boring taste.

PoodleDoodle and tonenia, and everyone else - Hi!

I will gladly pm it to anyone who asks, but I don't want to post it.

All I ask is that you don't publish it, sell it to the media, or enter it in any contests. icon_lol.gif

I saw the quote and thought of my granddaughters, it fit perfect. As for the strawberry filling, I use fresh strawberries with strawberry glaze for a non-refrigerated filling or fresh strawberries and fresh cream if okay to refrigerate.

I don't sell cakes, but I love to try out recipes using anything tropical. I've only found a few that are really awesome, but I'm always on the lookout. My favorite is white cake with mango filling.

my most popular cake flavour is white chocolate coconut mudcake. Not my personal favourite but it seems to be a hit with customers for some reason.

I'm not selling cakes yet either...just for free or for cost. But people seem to like the White Almond best. It is my favorite too - with raspberry filling.

I have a big family birthday bash this month and I'm making 3 cakes so we'll see if the requests start changing! I'm making a margarita cake w/lime filling and BC, bostom cream, and french vanilla w/ berries and whipped frosting.

Devil's food!! there's a lot of chocolate lovers around here. Second comes the white vanilla cake. For fillings, it's the strawberry filling, comes in second Raspberry filling. I sell two times more chocolate cakes than vanilla. But I would like to expend my choices of flavor so I'm making tests, kids love it when I test recipes, they're the ones to taste them icon_lol.gif So I'll make a list of flavors I can make, and for wedding cakes I'll be able to have taste test for the bride and groom to be. Thanks for all tips here in CC and all the recipes!!! icon_smile.gif

Oh, I think there are a lot of chocolate lovers. We have pastry chefs devoted to chocolate everything. I have never heard of one devoted exclusively to any other flavor.

I think a lot of people do not like chocolate cake because there are a lot of bad recipes and box mixes out there, to many dry, chalky, sometimes burnt aftertasting chocolate cakes. yuck!!!
