I've never done a buttercream transfer. I read the directions but I'm still confused on what part of the design to do first and what order, etc. I'm going to try to attach the design to be more clear,( it is copyrighted, but on the website it gives permission to the Awana club to use the design for promotion of the club. ) Thanks everyone, I need to do the transfers tonight so I can bake tomorrow and decorate friday.

That looks like a pretty straightforward transfer, a good one to start with! Generally you start with the "details" and move backward to the background colors. Since this one is all solids, I would do the yellow, then black, then white, but I don't think it will really make much difference what order you do them in.

It would only make a difference if, for example, there were polka dots inside the yellow of the letters, or something like that. Then you'd do the polka dots first and then do yellow over them.

Good luck!

If you have access to a copy machine, don't forget to do a reverse image first.
Then I would trace the black and then fill the rest.
Success!!!

I would print it out reversed, of course. I would then make the outline in black, then fill in the yellow.

Good Luck!

Let us know how it turns out!
