Anyone have any suggestions and/or pictures on how to carve a crawfish shaped cake??? I could swear I have seen a cake in the shape of a giant crawfish, but I can't find it in the galleries.
Anyone have one??
Thanks in advance,
Valerie
The only thing I found was a carved lobster cake, but that is prolly somewhat similar? I will put the link to it here, but this will also bump up your post incase someone has done one that can help ya out=) Jen

Clare Crespo makes lobster cupcakes...you could check outher website for ideas maybe...
Well the only time I've ever actually eaten crawfish it came in a big oversized bowl with a bunch of little crawfish inside....so I'm thinking you could make a large bowl cake and maybe several small fondont crawfish to top it off....just a thought.
anyone have tip on making fondant crawfish/corn? Tools to use to carve and such? Im making a crawfish boil cake and there are some great fondant crawfish on this website.......just wondering what tools used to make SO realistic! Also, is tinting piping gel my best bet for a water effect?
