I'm making candied apples for the first time and I could use some advice. My main concern is getting the sugar to coat the apple and keeping it from cooling while I dip 200 apples! How far in advance can I make them? Any advice?

If it is very humid I would not dip them more than two days in advance. If you keep them in a cool dry place you can dip them probably three days ahead of time.

If you're doing 200 apples you'll have to do it in batches anyway. Set the bowl on a heating pad while you work.
