If you have a husband like mine, or maybe you are this kind of person yourself
....you might use the plastic thingy that slides onto the toothpaste tube that helps squeeze every last teeny, tiny, miniscule, microscopic, (can you tell I'm a fan of this??) speck of dental bliss out of the tube. My question is....has anyone thought of using this to slide onto the end of a piping bag so kids can decorate in relative cleanliness? If you have, does it work?
I just saw a post about using a foodsaver to split a bag down the center. I would think you could also use the foodsaver to seal the top of the frosting bag so the kids don't have to worry about making a mess out the end. Of course, then you couldn't refill the bag.
I do the same thing with my toothpaste. Why waste! That is a great suggestion. I swear those clips have a million uses.
I'll have to try this with my son. He needs to decorate a cake for cub scouts later this month.
