Bright Icing Colors

I adore bright colors,, bu I just don't know how to get my BC, Fondant, RI,etc. to turn out brught and beautiful like I see on CC. Please Help!!

Try the Americolors "electric" colors....WOW - they are bright!!

I've had luck with the Americolors, but also the pastes. I just made all 5 really bright colors from the Rubik's Cube in fondant. It took a little while to get it all kneaded, but they are BRIGHT.

I like the Americolors too. They're easier to use and I find it doesn't take as much as the Wilton colors do to get a deep or bright color.

I had a request for a hot pink cake and I used the Electric Pink. It turned out very bright. I didn't need all that much color either. You can see it in my photos. (Be kind... I'm a beginner)

I just purchased the Electric Blue and can't wait to see how it looks. I'm very disappointed in some of the other dyes I have. I needed purple and used violet (another brand) and ended up with a light periwinkle no matter how much coloring I put in. I'm not buying any more of that brand. thumbsdown.gif

I used the Electric Pink and another pink for my flamingo cake. It was VERY pink!!
