Whenever I try to bake from scratch my cake has a lot of crumbs in it. What am I doing wrong? I want a more moist cake.

You have to be careful not to overmix your batter. When you are adding the dry ingredients to your wet ingredients, mix only to where they are JUST mixed. I learned this the hard way. My cakes kept coming out like cornbread until I started doing this from the help of other CC members.

That is what I was thinking. So next time I will just put on low speed and mix a little. Thank you so much.
