I just purchased my first americolors because of all the rave reviews here, and I must say I LOVE THEM! I LOVE THEM! I LOVE THEM! They give such quick fabulous colors. If you haven't tried them you should!!!

I have to agree. I love the Americolors, too. I had to make maroon this past weekend and have heard nothing but trouble about matching the color. It was fabulous! Great color and very easy with not much coloring used.

Has anybody noticed a bitter flavor with americolor? I just tried the maroon and my icing is now bitter.

How strange! I use them all the time and have never noticed a bitter taste. Maybe someone else can answer who has a solution to this???
