Is there a difference between putting a filling between layers and adding filling to a cake? I want to put Bavarian filling in a cake...am I just putting it between the layers? How much would be enough? Thanks!

Yes, put it between the layers..also known as filling.
It's not a stupid question, you just wanted clarification. icon_smile.gif

Make sure you use a buttercream dam first around the edge or the bavarian cream might seep out. amount of filling is a personal preference, but i find the more you use, the less stable your cake is and the top layer can slip around.
