Can anyone tell me how much of a size difference there is between an 80 and an 81. They are ruffle tips, and I can only find the 81. The cake I am making calls for the 80. I hope I can get away with using the 81, because I hate to order just one tip.

TIA!

They are actually "specialty tips", have you tried Wilton's website? The 80 tip looks slightly larger, I would think the 81 would work. How soon do you need it?

I will need it the last week of July. I just happen to run accross the 81 and went ahead and bought it because I havn't found the 80 yet. The cake I am making is a wilton cake in the new book. It's 11 cakes over a fountain. I can't think of what they call it, but it's very simple, just 3 rows of ruffles on the sides. all 11 cakes are decorated the same.
