How about color flow images of each of their faces? Like a different face on each cupcake?

For an easier route...I have see little einstein stuff at the cake store. I'm sure they would have cupcake picks, you could check your local cake store.

Another thought...you could find some clipart on the web and printh them out, put little sticks on them and use them for picks.

Sorry, just now got back to the site. Color flow is not hard, but a little time-consuming. Here is a link to the instructions.

The more I think about it, you probably don't want to deal with that for each individual cupcake. Schmoop's ideas are much better. icon_smile.gif

What's another recipe for color flow. In Europe they call it something else.

I was wanting a homemade recipe that didn't call for that elusive "color flow mix" from Wilton.

Can't I just use Royal Icing and thin it down really well?

I was also wondering the same about color flow last week when I was doing one. Isn't it just royal icing? Or is there some secret ingredient / addative?

Wow, I have no idea. I took the Wilton classes and we used the color flow mix, but surely there is another way to do it without it. I don't know if thinned royal would give you the same results. Maybe someone else knows?

The only difference is that Colorflow dries shiny and has that "pillow" effect.

You can use RI.
