I have used the Wilton buttercream recipe as well for the last couple things I've baked and my family liked it so much I didn't even get a chance to photograph! The first time it still seemed too sweet for me so I only put half the vanilla in and added lemon extract the second time and even I loved it. I'm not that crazy about sweets other than chocolate (go figure). It took down the real sweet and added a little bit of a fresh taste at the end for lack of a better word. There was no lemony taste. Also, I believe I was using unsalted butter and I just remembered I added a dash or so of salt as well. I didn't write it down but I'm going to try it again to see if I can do it again.

I use the buttercream dream all the time now. I use flavored creamer in place of some of the milk. It tastes great.
