I am trying to figure out what to do for a 25th wedding anniversary cake. What I was thinking was a white 3 tiered cake with silver flowers cascading. My question is....
If I have white royal icing flowers already made can I make them silver with luster dust? I've never used it so I have no clue what you use it for icon_lol.gif
If I can apply it to the dried flowers, how do I do that?
Sorry for the "back to basics" question, but you never know unless you ask, right?

try reading this, might help a little. I've never used it (luster dust) but I do know they carry silver and gold. This thread answers alot of questions.

I dried brushed the color onto mine, also I have "painted" it on by adding a little vodka to it to make a paint; a trick learned here. I would avoid putting the wet mixture on just because they would melt--get soft again.
