I did a crib cake for a shower this afternoon. I formed my fondant crib "header" and "footer" four days ago so it would dry. Well, the sucker ain't dry and I'm in a heap of trouble as it keeps wilting. I have it in the oven right now trying to help expedite the drying process. But, I need a plan b. Any suggestions on how to rig it? I have to leave to set up asap.

maybe trying inserting toothpicks or a cookie stick from the bottom and down thru part of the cake to keep it stable and upright
