I have a lady who paints barns for a living, and wants to send a thank you cookie bouquet after she finishes a job. I have the cookies figured out: a couple of barns (of course), rectangles for her logo and info, and rounds for the thank you. What I don't have is the container. I was thinking a cookie tin shaped like a barn, but can't find one anywhere on the internet.

Any ideas?? I am going to need between 40 and fifty of these...

TIA-
meg

Somebody else on here stuck her farm theme cookies down in mini hay bales. It was very cute, but I don't know how it would travel. Cakesonoccasion's idea of the galvinized buckets are cute too, and you can get those at Home Depot in the painting supplies. Also if you have a farm supply store near you, you could check into small metal chicken feeders or waterers. Yeah, I was raised in a barn, I mean on a farm!!!

I bought some cute silver metal pails at Walmart for .97 they were in the artifical flower section. I recently did a barn and 4 pigs for a bouquet and put them in a pink pail. I really like the pails at walmart, reminds me of a milk bucket.

Hay bales- how cute!! That would be an awesome idea for a centerpiece at a farm themed kids party....but you're right, heidisuesmom, I don't think they would travel well. Maybe some hotglue would be needed...? Definitely do buckets. Inexpensive, and readily available!

the first thing I thought of was a picket fence??? you can buy (sometimes at dollar stores) those little wooden picket fences that go around your garden bed......well dollar tree here has them for like a 1 1/2 ft. section for a dollar.......I'll bet you could cut it in fours and nail/glue the pieces together forming a small box out of the pickets......maybe throw a foam block covered in tissue paper down in it to hold the cookies?

i too thought of picket fence when i saw this post. The dollar store by me has them too. and i always think they'd be cute for a cake or cookies.
wait a minute, she paints barns... so a small paint bucket would be cute too! two in one, animals (cookies) & paint. Whatcha think?

ok there's more on ebay. i just typed farm pail or farm bucket. really cute ones there. I think you might find a "milk" tin bucket small in Michaels too. that would look cute.
GL can't wait to see this!
