hi..i saw some recipes for creamy buttercream here on cc...will it hold up in a hot and humid weather? since it consists mainly of butter?? thanks! icon_smile.gif

No, it will not hold up. Are you talking about having it outside? If so, use Alpine (or Sweetex) with butter flavored extract. Alpine has the highest melting point. Or, use fondant, if that's an option. Keep the cake in the shade. If the cake will be indoors with A/C, and the car trasnporting it has A/C, then all butter is fine.
