I have a co-worker who is great. I teach in a boy's boot camp, and he really goes out of his way to help the kids however he can. He is getting married soon and we want to throw him a "groom shower", but we want to totally suprise him. He is not in the military portion of the program so that is not really a good option. The only other thing I can think is maybe to do something with golf. He has a really good sense of humor so I would like to do something funnier, but I can't do anything too naughty since it will be served at work.
Anybody have any ideas?
boot camp i think of obstacle course and exercise... maybe something like that. golf- could do a golf ball with the ball pan. sorry not being very creative this morning ![]()
I appreciate the ideas! I don't really know what to do and I don't want to ask around about it because I don't want him to find out.

great idea....
the "does this make me look fat?" hurdle
the "it's your turn to ....." mud crawl
the "not tonight dear, I have a..." climbing wall
etc.

another idea:
a popular theme for guy showers is a TOOL shower ....
where all the gifts are tools to use around the house (hammer, saw, etc.)
so could do a "tool box" --- edible variations of real tools (chocolate molds available for the tools)
of course if have a more wicked sense of humor...
tools for a marriage:
shovel -- to dig yourself out of another mess (or to dig your grave!)
hammer -- to hit self on head (stupid stupid stupid) after answering YES to does this make me look fat?
etc.
Doug... You are hilarious. I love your first idea. I can see all the possibilites ahead. I could even picture one of those cake toppers with the bride dragging the groom. I could paint him all muddy like she drug him through the course... ![]()
