Ok, so I live in a condo. community. Monday starts resident appreciation week and there will be something fun each day of the week. Wed. is ice cream day where everyone gets ice cream. Thurs. is a bbq. and I was asked to make some cookie bouquets (mother's day theme) as prizes. I was told to also feel free to bring samples of anything I want to. Now the samples will be free, great way for me to advertise myself but I'm not sure what to do. I have alot of cookie bouquet orders that week and I was thinking maybe a 3d cake of the main bldg. or a topsy turvy (never made one) or just some small things. I want to WOW the people but I have no idea what to do. I saw something for the ice cream theme by Dailey that was really cool. 2 ice cream cones on top of eachother made of cake. PMed her for instructions, no responce. What to do what to do? Thanks for your input. Do you see anything in my photos that would be neat as an idea or do you have something?
Thanks so much,
Amy

I don't have anything grand, but I see you do a lot of cookie bouquets. What about doing a few of those with different themes. This way the people could see what you can do and take a cookie to taste now or later. I think it would be easier to transport than cakes and not as susceptible to heat damage. You could do your ice cream theme, do cookies of the building like you suggested. I like the fish cookies. You could do one with a bbq theme. Or since you said you had several other bouquets to do this week, make several extra cookies from each bouquet. That way you wouldn't have to do a whole seperate batch. I do like the ice cream cake idea but have no idea how to even begin, plus it looks like it would be really hard to cut and after the first few slices, your work may not be seen. Hope something in my long post helps you. icon_smile.gif
