I am brand new at this. I have a house mold that I've used once before and had no trouble. This morning, after I took it out of the oven, it sank in the middle. icon_cry.gif Any ideas what I did wrong? The pan is fairly deep and I used a box mix. Thanks!

I can't tell you what went wong - but I have that happen from time to time...not sure if it is a mis-measured cake mix or if I had too much liquid or something...

I have had the same problem with cakes falling. Seems like more with chocolate and other flavors. But I have had all flavors fall before. I thought perhaps the cake mixes might be old. Any suggestions would be appreciated. icon_sad.gif

Your cake could be underbaked. Your oven's temp is not right one. It's a good idea to preheat 30-45 mins. using an oven thermoniter to get the temp right on. Sometime if use sour cream in your recipe that could be the culprit.
