You have to becareful about that stuff, see if they have an office, and go to it, that way you know if they are real. Second if they say they are acredited call those companies and inquire about the school, do this way before you give them any of your money.
Good luck

This is new to me? Did you receive this as an email or did you find it on their webpage?

If it came from an email, delet it!

I have been all over Sugararts website and I haven't seen anything like it?

IMO - somethings fishy! I agree with loncake, contact the main office first!

I got the ad from my ICES newsletter. It's on page 23. I emailed them last night, and they responded this morning. They described the process and want me to test upload a picture to be sure my class projects can be adequately photographed and emailed to them.

So far they sound legit, but I'd like to speak with someone who has done this.

I did somethine like that, and for the preview webshots and stuff before you give them money, the courses look awesome, really well organized, well after I paid them and got the real courses, it was like a 14 year old sat down and wrote some stuff and got paid $5, there were more jokes/slang in the whole thing than there was real material, and the material that was on there wasnt correct. So I beg of you to go to their office, talk to the places that they say they are accredited, if there isnt then walk, no run away. dont invest your time and money, into something that your not 100% on. Good luck

Oh after all was said and done, I lost $650

Hmmm....that's interesting. Thanks for that tidbit, it is going to be about $400 for me, so I might have to re think that. I can't go visit their office, it's in the UK and I'm over here in the USA.

Thanks for the heads up.

On the site they say they are city and guild accredited, this is a reconised body so I would contact them and see if it is legit. I would also ask if you get a city and guild qualification at the end if your work is good enough.http://www.city-and-guilds.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/cgonline
