So I'm having a really hard time getting my icing smooth. I've tried the viva paper towel and the melvira method, but maybe I bought the wrong kind of roller. Now I"m thinking I want to try the upside down method. I cant find a link. The search feature is still a bit wonky.

I was referring to a sheet cake. Is it possible to do the upside down method on a sheet cake.

I'm sorry, but I have never tried it on any cake. So I don't know. I would think it might be tricky to flip a large cake back over, but maybe someone has done it and they can help you out.

Do you need the cake right away or do you have time to practice?

What kind of troubles are you having with the Viva paper towel method? Not experience with the Melvira method. icon_redface.gif
