My question is about Satin Ice.
This may be a stupid question but I have never used the product and am a beginner (I have been an artist for many years and am using my talents (?) in sugar these days). Is it fondant? The package says rollable icing, but the instructions are the same as fondant. I need to use a dark black for a cake topper and the Wilton does not turn dark black.

u do have to put ALOT of color to turn fondant black, u also may want to add some cocoa (unless it is being eaten, hopefully it is for accents
and yes satin ice tastes way better than wiltons
