Do Tell - How did you do the lettering?

I hope that no one ever asks me to do lettering on a cake... I would just die if I made a beautiful cake and messed it up with my poor icing writing technique!

Your cake is absolutely beautiful! Bravo darling!

ladysonja: I am no good at writing so I invested in the stamp set from Wilton. It is the best thing I've bought! No matter how much I practice, I can't make my writing look good, the letters are all different sizes etc... so the stamps have helped me a lot!! I really recommend them.

i used letter tappits for the writing as my writing leaves a lot to be desired. just roll out the icing thinly push in the letter needed and tap it out. i put them on a board for 24 hours to dry out then just stick them onto the cake with a little cooled boiled water.
