This has been working really well for me so I thought I would share it for all the newbies trying to find clients. ![]()
My sister suggested this. I now have a small photo album that holds mabybe 30 pics in my purse at all times. In the back of the album is a slot that would normally be for negatives(My Mom got the album when she printed out some pics from Shutterfly). I keep my business cards (printed at Staples, 1 dollar per page, 10 on a page) in the back of it. Then when I am talking to someone I am aquaintences with, I whip out the album to show them my newest cake, they look through the whole thing and usually take a business card from the back when they are done. I got 3 orders plus gave out 2 additional cards all on Thursday at my daughters pre-school by doing this. I have alse given out a ton of cards this way too.
The only bad part is that I had to thank my sister for the good idea. ![]()
That is a good idea. As far as business cards, are you a licensed business? I always wondered if that was legal to do if you weren't a business? I thought of doing some business cards with just my name and phone number on them but I never knew if I should because I"m not a business? Thoughts?
