Question, did a search but can't find an answer...can you bake 2-10 inch square pans at the same time? I don't have the pans yet, but was curious. Been one of those weeks that all I feel like I have done is bake...and big cakes at that! I am hoping the answer will come back on this one that I can put them both in at the same time. Come on girls...don't let me down! ![]()
Yes you can bake two 10" pans together. Put them on different racks but remember to rotate them part way through baking time; also stagger them, don't put one under the other. Or if they fit side by side WITHOUT touching each other or the sides of oven you can use same rack. Rotate the cakes doing it this way too.
I've never had a cake fall by rotating them. You just slide them out, turn and slide back in so they'll bakc evenly. Cakes can really put up with a lot.
Maybe one of those super light, egg whites only, angel food cakes might fall if you joggle it; but not
a regular cake.
