I am making about 100 cupcakes for a party. If I make my own icing how many cups of icing should I make to make sure I have enough. Thanks Everyone!!!!

I think I read in my Cake Mix Dr book that one cup will ice 12 cupcakes. I thought that sounded like a lot, but I would think at least 9 or so, depending on how MUCH icing. I always make more than I need. It's easier that way...of course, even with that, I end up needing more because I mess it up. LOL!
