I have my first wedding cake order due next Saturday (May 12). My question is for anyone who has done an ivory colored wedding cake. Did you use clear or ivory colored pillars? The cake I'm making is going to be a 12", 10" and a 6" with pillars between the 10" and 6". The cake is going to be frosted with cream cheese icing so it will be sorta ivory colored. My problem is I just realized today that I only have white pillars and I think that may look stupid. So should I go with clear or ivory? And who should I order them from that has FAST shipping so that they will make it here in time? If anyone has some advise I could really use it as I am starting to freak out now. icon_cry.gif TIA!!

Thanks for the replies. prterrell thanks for the link. I will probably call them on Monday and have them overnight the clear pillars to me. I unfortunately don't have any cake supply stores near me and Michales and Joann didn't have any.

One more question. What size pillar do you think I should go with? The cake should be about 4" tall. Do you think a 7" or a 9" pillar? Sorry for all the questions but like I said before this is my first wedding cake and I'm really nervous. I just want it to look good. Thanks and sorry to be a pest. icon_redface.gif
