Is There Such A Thing As "too Many Birthday Cakes"

Hopefully next week, we'll be able to visit 4 people that I've been chatting with online. This will be the first time that I'm meeting them and I thought it would be very nice if I made small birthday cakes for each of them, especially since their birthdays are fairly close (one is in March, one is in May, one is in July, and I don't know when the other's birthday is). I was thinking for each person, I could do one 7" round cake with a mini bear stand up cake on top (similar to the Spiderman and Care Bear cakes on my photos). So between the 4 people, I would only need to use 2 cake mixes with the extenders.
So I'm just wondering if this would be considered too much cake for between the 4 people. They all live together so they can have access to each other's cakes. I wouldn't want the cakes to go to waste if they can't eat it all. But hopefully if that's the case, then they would be wiling to share some of it with other people.
