who's kitchen looks like a PS bomb went off in their kitchen after making a cake? I had to make two in the last two days and I am STILL finding ps EVERYWHERE. It takes at least an hour to clean up MOST of the mess. Tell me it happens to everyone and that I am just not that clumsy lol.

NO you are not the only one!!! I spend as much time cleaning PS off unlikely surfaces as I do making and decorating the cake!! And to think, I thought a black KA would be a GOOD idea! icon_rolleyes.gif

This is so funny, just last night my mother came into my kitchen and what is this? I had the door shut and had been making icing, I was pouring my last bag in the mixer when she walked in. She was like, "It's all smokey with powdered sugar all in the air, I gotta get out of here, I can't breath!" I had been making icing for about an hour, I went through 12lbs. of powdered sugar last night!

I keep my KA next to my stove so that when I pour the PS into it to make frosting I turn the exhaust fan on and it sucks up alot of the PS dust. I also found that using the pouring shield really helps keep it local.

My kitchen is always a disaster. No matter how much I clean. Having a 17 month old who throws her food on the floor really doesn't help either. Plus my 3 year old feels the need to eat over the floor and not over the table. I clean and clean and clean and it still looks like a tornado hit it. I can say though that when I bake. There isn't an empty spot anywhere. We have to eat out when I bake because I have no room for them to sit and eat let alone cook them something. icon_lol.gif
